Rod Claar has been working in and around software development for more than three decades — first in retail technology, then as a core product developer, consulting services director, and ultimately as a trainer and coach who has taught Scrum, Agile, Test Driven Development, and Software Design Patterns to hundreds of practitioners across the industry.
He implemented Scrum at a software company in Seattle in the early 2000s, before most teams had heard of it. He has spent the years since helping development teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile Coaches build the discipline and judgment to deliver real value — not just follow a process.
In recent years, Rod has turned his focus to Artificial Intelligence — learning, practicing, and integrating AI into his own work and teaching it to the Agile community. He founded AgileAIDev.com to give practitioners a grounded, practical path into AI that strengthens their Agile practice rather than undermining it.
He teaches from experience, not from slides. Every prompt pattern, every technique, and every caution in this course comes from real work — not theory.
